Sent Card #14

This is going to Dr. Bird in Grotenrath, Germany. He wrote on his profile that postcards are small, but many of them crossing the world, may build a bridge between people – people who just want to live in peace on this beautiful planet. I think that was really well said, and that’s one of the reasons I joined Postcrossing – to learn about other countries and cultures, and hopefully make some new friends along the way!

UPDATE July 31, 2012: Hurray! My card reached its destination in 6 days after traveling 6,470 km! “Thank you very much for your beautiful postcard I just received. I like it very much(…) All the best to you and yours, good luck in Virginia and – keep on rocking.” He sounds like such a positive, wonderful person!
