Jessica from Hong Kong loves history, so I sent her this card from the White House of the Confederacy in Richmond, Virginia. I also added some Civil War themed stamps and wrote a little bit about the Civil War!

HURRAY! My card reached its destination in 7 days after traveling 13,277 km! Jessica wrote, “Thank you so much for the postcard! So historical, I love it so much! It is so cute to know such history and the stamps are beautiful! If you don’t mind giving your address to me, I would like to send you a postcard to thank you.” Aw! I’m so glad she liked the card. What a really sweet response! 🙂

Inga from Klaipedos, Lithuania likes mapcards so I sent her one of Virginia. She asked on her profile to write down my favorite quote, so I told her mine is “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” (Luke 6:31) I also like “Genius is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration.”(Thomas Edison)

HURRAY! My card reached its destination in 7 days after traveling 7,160 km! Inga wrote, “Thank you sooo much for the beautiful map postcard and nice stamps. I love it. The quote from the Bible is my favorite too. Nice to meet you in postcrossing!”
