Laura from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts had posted on an (unofficial) Facebook Postcrossing page (that I belong to) about swapping, and I wanted to swap with her since she had a lot of cards I really wanted! I was super happy that she agreed to swap 4 cards, since I wanted all 4 above! 🙂 She also included this cute kitty card!! 🙂

I’m collecting USA mapcards, so I was so happy to get these 3, plus I really wanted the mosquito postcard because I have the exact same one, except it says “Wisconsin State Bird”. Hahha I wonder how many other versions there are? (By the way, the State Bird of Wisconsin is actually the Robin, and the State Bird of Maine is the Black-capped Chickadee. 🙂 )

Wonderful Egyptian card from the Randalls!

The amazing Randall Family sent me this great card from Egypt via Boston, MA! Plus, it has an Egyptian stamp on it! That’s so neat. I didn’t realize the USPS would process a postcard (or letter) with a foreign stamp. That’s super cool! This card is from Luxor – the ancient city of Thebes, and ancient capital of Egypt… So cool. 🙂

The Randall Family from Boston, Massachusetts, USA sent me a few cards two weeks ago, and today I received another! This one is from Pleven, Bulgaria! Pleven is the 7th largest city in Bulgaria with just over 100,000 people. Thank you Randall Family! 🙂

The Randall family from Boston, Massachusetts, USA saw I was missing some postcards from Honduras and Latvia, and sent me these two great cards! YAY! 🙂 The first card is from Río Lindo, Honduras and the second card is from Rainis Academic Art Theatre in Riga, Latvia. The architecture is so interesting! Thanks to the Randall family!!! 🙂

Card from Madeleine!

I swapped cards with Madeleine about a week ago, and she just sent me this really pretty card that she picked up on a recent trip to Florida. She said this is one of her favorite stamps, and I love it too. I was so excited when the USPS released the Harry Potter stamps!!! 🙂

Favorite cheese: Cashew cheese (vegan)

So, Madeleine from Massachusetts, USA found me via my Etsy shop, which sent her here to my blog. She asked if I’d swap cards, and of course, I said yes. 🙂 She asked me some questions about selling cards on Etsy, so I thought I’d send her my 5 most current cards (pictured below). I thought it’d give her a good idea about printing quality.

She sent me this adorable card of a pig, which I think is super cute. It’s from Farm Sanctuary in NY. She’s a vegan, and I’ve been trying to eat a more vegan diet. AND, her grandfather is a famous philatelist, which I think is sooooo awesome! 🙂 His name is Jeremy A. Lifsey and he wrote 2 books on stamps. Check them out!
