Letitia from Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, USA sent me an email asking to swap and I was happy to say yes. 🙂 She sent me this lovely card of a lighthouse that she took, and another of a lighthouse mapcard.

I sent Letitia the cards below:

Letitia wrote me after she received my cards, and said she realized she had some circus stamps!! 🙂 I love circuses and I love stamps, so circus stamps are really exciting to me. 🙂 She sent me TEN circus stamps. 🙂 I also love the Halloween washi tape she used on the envelope, and the stickers! Yay! Thanks so much Letitia! 🙂

Sent Card #141

141-USA-nov21.2013 141-USA-nov21.2013-stamp

I randomly drew Jeff from Saginaw, Michigan, USA as my next postcard to send. I immediately got the song “America” by Simon & Garfunkel stuck in my head (in which they sing, “It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw”). I had the song stuck in my head the whole time I was writing my postcard. I love that song! Jeff likes cards with monuments so I sent him this one.

HURRAY! My card reached its destination in 7 days after traveling 860 km! Jeff wrote, “Thanks for the Richmond card. Happy Thanksgiving. Big game tomorrow. Green Bay v Detroit. I miss Aaron Rodgers.” I miss Aaron Rodgers too. Hope he’s well enough to play very soon! Go Packers!

Swapped Card #1

Tiffany in Schaumburg, IL contacted me about swapping postcards – my 1st swap! Neat. 🙂 She liked the Virginia mapcard I recently sent and wanted to know if I had another one. I do, so she sent me a Michigan mapcard because I want to start collecting mapcards, too! I can’t believe I lived in Wisconsin for 24 years and have never been to Michigan. Oops. But I’ve been to 24 other states! Below is the card I sent.
