Yay! My friend Valerie sent me this neat Georgia postcard, because she knows I love mapcards! 🙂 I was really excited to get this. Valerie and I were in Atlanta a few years ago – what a wonderful city! I think my favorite place was the Georgia Aquarium, where she went again on her current trip! 🙂 Thanks Valerie! 🙂

My good friend Valerie was in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA last week for business, and she sent me this super cool card! 🙂 It’s from the D Casino & Hotel. I really like postcards from hotels! I’ve never been to Vegas, but I’d love to go someday!
My friend Valerie went to Massachusetts and Maine for work, and she sent me this neat card from Salem, Massachusetts! It’s of the The House of the Seven Gables and she even went up the secret staircase in the attic!
Sari from the Netherlands collects strawberry postcards and stamps, and has over 400 strawberry cards and just a few less stamps! I think that’s so cool. I don’t have any strawberry postcards or stamps, but I did have this adorable card that’s on her favorite list. 🙂 I added a Wisconsin stamp to it! I told her I also love collecting stamps, and my friend Valerie recently gave me one with socks on it. I think it’s pretty funny, so I want to see if I can find more sock stamps!
HURRAY! My card reached its destination in 14 days after traveling 6,420 km! Sari said, “Absolutely the most beautiful card ever!!! Thanks a LOT!! All the very best for 2013! I try to find you a stamp with socks.” Awesome!!! 🙂
This is the sock stamp I have – it’s from Sweden:

Valerie’s friend Tammy sent me this awesome circus card! The photo was taken in 1905 in Peru, Indiana of Mrs. Sweeney & Sulky the Elephant. 🙂 Peru, IN was a famous location for circuses to stop during winter. Now the International Circus Hall of Fame is located here! Great card! I’m also amused at the postmark – what is it? Postmarks are so blurry these days… I’m guessing it’s a kid writing? Something to do with education?
My good friend Valerie goes to a lot of football games at Notre Dame, so when I saw this in the mail I couldn’t wait to tell her about it! Then I realized it was from her. lol What is that postmark??
